Is it okay to look?

Have you and your date ever strolled down the street, and all the sudden someone else catches your eye? When you or your date glimpses at some one should there be tension between each other? I believe it's fine to notice someone else. I agree with the phrase "you can look but don't touch", but in most cases you shouldn't have to look at someone else. Your date should be pleasing to your eye so you won't get distracted.
